Welcome to the Canadian Society of Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (CSATVB) which was founded in 1983. We are a group of Canadian clinicians and basic scientists committed to cardiovascular health and disease through research and education. Presently, CSATVB consists of 320+ members across Canada, including clinical and basic researchers, students, trainees and technicians. more..

Links with other Societies

  • Report on the 2011 China-Canada Symposium in Atherosclerosis and Cardiovascular Disease Meeting that took place in Beijing, China from  September 23-25, 2011 (click here to view the report and for more details). 
  • International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS):  The deadline for the IAS Visiting Fellowship has been extended to January 30, 2012.  This grant of $5,000-$8,000 will provide a wonderful opportunity for a young scientist to gain experience and knowledge in the field of atherosclerosis.  (click here to register)
