About Us

To promote advances in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease in Canada through research and education.

Objectives of the Canadian Society of Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology:

• Promote the advancement of knowledge and teaching related to atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology

• Support and foster translational research between basic and clinical scientists

• Encourage and support the development and advancement of young investigators and students in the fields of atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology
• Establishment of a forum for the presentation and discussion of research on atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology in Canada
• Maintain and promote dialogue and exchange with other Canadian and International Societies and Organizations having similar aims and interests to those of the CSATVB
• Enhance the health of Canadians by providing information to health professionals and lay community about atherosclerosis, thrombosis and vascular biology in Canada
